Active Away and The Padel School have partnered to give you the opportunity to experience a Padel Holiday with expert coaching from Sandy, Tom and the Active Away Team! We’ve chosen the beautiful Greek Island of Crete to host this truly unforgettable trip.
The Itinerary – With a fun packed itinerary, you’ll be in Padel heaven from the moment you arrive! You’ll have coaching, enjoy some match play, a fun competition and watch the pro’s play!
The Padel – With 4 Padel courts onsite, it’s the perfect destination for this exciting trip.
The Location – The Kalimera Kriti Resort is only a 50 minute transfer from Heraklion Airport. Heraklion is a buzzing port city on the north coast of Crete. The hotel itself boasts its own secluded beaches, indoor & outdoor pools, water sports centre, and Spa, with Crete Golf Club just a 20 minute taxi ride away (why not add on an extra day and play some golf!)

Arrival – You can arrive at any time throughout the day. Your host will be there to greet you on arrival. Check In is from 14:00.
Airport Transfer – We can organise an Airport Transfer for you at a cost of £50pp (Return) or alternatively you can make your own way from the Airport to the Hotel (Uber and Bolt are both good options).
Dining – No meals are organised for this day (due to the variety of flight arrival times), you are able to have dinner in the hotel (at an additional cost).

Departure – You can depart at any time throughout the day. Your host will be there to see you depart. Check Out time is 12:00.

Restaurants
The buffet restaurant at Kalimera Kriti is simply amazing. It offers a huge range of popular dishes as well as local delicacies made with only the freshest ingredients.
We tend to dine in the main buffet restaurant for all 3 meals of the day. This is all included at no extra cost. Subject to the seasonality of the a la carte restaurants, these may also be an option.
If you’d like to dine outside the resort, there is a quaint fishing village to explore some authentic local cuisine.

We love the central main bar at Kalimera Kriti. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with a dancefloor if you’d like to throw a few shapes!

Yes! There are 4 padel courts at the resort.
When you’ve received confirmation that you can book your flights, please follow the below steps:
1. Visit our Flights page.
2. Enter your preferred Departure Airport, the Arrival Airport (Heraklion) as well as the Arrival Date (13 April 2024) and Departure Date (18 April 2024).
3. Press Search and you’ll be redirected to a SkyScanner page.
4. Select your preferred flight and book them.

No drinks are included in your package, these are chargeable directly to your room. Payment can be made on check-out.
Yes – €4 per room per night which is payable to reception on arrival.

Yes! Just book one of the Padel Tennis Courts located at the hotel, grab some friends you’ve met on the trip and have a game!
