Last week my wife and I had a wonderful tennis holiday. We couldn't fault any of the 3 coaches who were so positive, helpful and fun. The hotel location in Kos were amazing also - we enjoyed wonderful food, sea swimming, and the beach was a perfect place to relax

We spent a week with George, Matt, Mike and a truly wonderrful group of fun people at Ikos Aria. It was a special week. It felt like an extended family event. A group of just 17. The boys offered a perfect mix of different personalities. George cared that everything ran smoothly. Mike cared that we all had a laugh and a great time. Matt cared about tormenting Mike for our amusement and sharing his amazing tennis talent. I'm so glad I spent this time with my wife in the company of these lovely people in this relaxing place playing tennis.It was all inclusive including the banter, camaraderie and care. I feel blessed.

Fantastic week at Ikos in Kos. The coaches Cam, Sam and Josh were simply brilliant, great transfer of knowledge and skills, felt i came away a much better player albeit with tired legs, but put that down to the dancing. Our fellow guests were delightful, fun and entertaining. Will definately return and can’t recommend highly enough. The resort is first class and the service and attention to detail by the staff is exceptional.

The ikos aria resort on Kos island was stunning, gorgeous gardens, pools and restaurants. The food was outstanding with so much choice! The tennis hosting and coaching was superb. Josh T , Josh P and Owen built our tennis confidence and taught us so many tactics to help improve our doubles game. It was great to meet other players and get a good amount of match play practice! It was so much fun! We will definitely return.

Totally blown away by the professionalism of this organisation. Second trip to Ikos with these guys who are all extremely talented and personable. We've just returned from a fantastic family tennis holiday with Active Away in Ikos Aria. We can honestly say that it was one of the best holidays we've ever had! Our hosts Tom and Roman looked after us so well on and off the court with a genuine personal touch, making sure we had the best of times. The tennis coaching was knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly fun for whole family. Especially for our younger daughter (10 yr old) who surprised us all with her enthusiasm to play tennis for four hours every day. We did not think she would last the whole week, but instead she kept on asking when the next session was. Even my cricket playing husband surprised himself by how much he enjoyed a week of tennis and proclaimed he would like to play it regularly from now on. Ikos Aria is an amazing luxury hotel which also made this holiday extra special. We are already planning our next Active Away holiday and will be recommending it to all our tennis playing friends.

I’m not an experienced player, nor am I young & fit but the beauty of AA is that you will still have the best coaches giving you their all, inspiring you to be the best you can be in the most beautiful surroundings. And then there’s the après-tennis, sooooo much fun with friends old and new, yet always your wonderful hosts to make sure you are enjoying your holiday to the max. Is there anything more you could want, yes there is, booking to go again!!!!

I joined an Active Away holiday to Kos with my non-playing husband, having gone solo on two previous occasions to Sani Beach. My husband felt very much part of the ‘gang’ even though he was only present in the evenings & he teamed up with another non-player on the trip for the occasional bike ride. He enjoyed it so much he would book to come with me next year as well, he now understands why I enjoy the tennis holidays so much. I learned so much about my game and doubles tactics, plus spent time socially with a great bunch of fun people. The hosts Josh, Tom & Roman are absolutely on top of ensuring everyone has the best experience possible, from the coaching, to the accommodation & the socialising. The Ikos hotel on the Greek island of Kos is an outstanding destination for a tennis holiday and the Active Away team provide a very attractive package; attentive hosting combined with an instructive and interesting doubles tennis coaching program with plenty of social tennis.

Just had a wonderful week’s holiday with Activeaway at Ikos Aria Kos. Weather wasn’t great and v windy but the coaching taught us how to deal with it. Excellent coaching and people skills.

An action packed week with Active Away: thoroughly enjoyable. Pitied our fellow resorteers who hadn’t signed up with Active Away: all they had was sunshine, great food and lovely views. We had tennis too! Just great.

Brilliant week learning doubles technique and match play tactics . Well constructed program which progressed through the week from warm up through all the basics of the game including volleys return of serve cross court drops slice movement and placement strategies. Brilliantly presented and demonstrated with humour and enthusiasm by the coaches followed by drills and mini competitions in smaller groups . The groups were regularly mixed in so that everyone played with everyone and all 3 coaches . The week ended with a mini tournament and a great exhibition match and a champagne celebration and presentation of awards and honourable mentions . The group was really great fun and competitive with great banter on and off court . Would highly recommend this holiday to any active tennis players wishing to improve their tennis skills . My second holiday with active away and it most certainly won’t be my last. Having been an avid tennis player from age 7 through to my early 30’s I gave up after having my children. So I had completely lost confidence in my ability to play at a decent level again. Going on an Active Away holiday has built up my confidence in no time! I’ve had first class coaching followed by great match play with fabulous active away guests in the afternoons. The week is so well structured with great thought about the whole guest experience. You are looked after with such professionalism from the moment you meet for breakfast until you decide to retire from the bar in the evening! The best holiday in the most gorgeous hotel.

A holiday to exceed your expectations! We had previously done a weekend tennis clinic with Active Away which was great. Going to Kos to a fabulous hotel and spending time with lovely likeminded people was definitely one of our best holiday decisions. We loved the focus on emphasising tennis tactics as well as bits of technique so whatever your standard you’ll come away with new, game improving things to try in your doubles matches. It’s an excellent formula. Our coaching team worked tirelessly to make our experience extraordinary. Josh really cares about seeing that everyone has a great time and in cooperation with the hotel left us feeling so well looked after that we put our names down for the same week next year before getting on the plane home. Thé tennis program is excellent and gives a good grounding to all the strokes. The coaches are compétent and knowledgeable lead well by Josh. They work you hard on court but the off court down time is equally as good. You can join in as much or as little as you want. The communication and organisation by Josh is faultless. Nothing is too much for him to do for you. If you’re keen on improving and playing tennis, then this is the best program and holiday I’ve experienced. It’s part of my annual routine now!

It was my first activeaway holiday and I went into it not really knowing what to expect. However, it turned out to be such a fantastic holiday, great tennis and great resort. Our host, Josh and the coaches were fantastic, not only in tennis coaching, but also with social interaction with the holiday makers.
