Another fab week in Corfu with George and Chris. The tennis drills were really useful (lots of them so be ready to do lots of stretching/recovery work alongside!!) and match play fun. Both hosts really cared about making sure we all had a lovely experience on and off the court, which I appreciated. Active Away really have the tennis holiday format nailed!

I had a brilliant time at the Active Away all inclusive tennis holiday in Daphnila Bay, Corfu. Excellent coaching team, hosted by Alex Juniper & his team Ciaran Mould, Alex Rice & Peter Kasparek. 22.5 hours of coaching with drills in the morning & match play in the afternoon. There was plenty of down time to explore this beautiful town & enjoy the wonderful beaches & walks.This is also a perfect holiday for a tennis enthusiast travelling solo as everyone was friendly & inclusive. The host ensured everyone was integrated & although you may travel with a group, I had the opportunity to meet & play with people from other clubs.I highly recommend Active Away as they take all the stress out of booking a tennis break, communication & follow up is excellent from the Admin team. This Tennis holiday was far better than any expectations that I had. Active Away provided the most brilliant timetable. It was so well planned out and considered the tennis coaches were all outstanding really putting 100% into the program and encouraging all the guests. It was a lovely combination of, coaching, matchplay and fun. I will definitely be booking again.

We traveled from California to Corfu for the tennis camp and had a wonderful experience. The coaching was amazing and the cohort of tennis guests were loads of fun! The location was also stunning.

I have experienced clinics, holidays and now a tennis weekend with Active Away and the same winning formula is applied every time. Well done to the team for making it work in spite of some tricky weather!

Active Away - game changers in every sense!! Before even packing my tennis racquet I felt this was going to be something very special - and my high expectations were spectacularly exceeded! The attention to detail and pre holiday information was clear and relevant . Already I felt part of a winning team. This positive vibe and inclusivity was a thread that ran through the whole holiday - way beyond play on the courts. The team organisation and approach was precise and professional and this translated to a very fun and friendly week. I can honestly say I have not had so much fun in a long time! The venue was superb, facilitating every need. Whether chilling by the pool ( which one? - decisions,decisions..) splashing in the sea, being pampered in the spa or even pumping those muscles in the gym - it’s all there for you. Whatever you did there was always a friendly face popping up - be it one of the many new friends I made that week, the coaches or even the main man Steve himself! Oh yes - the tennis! This was simply amazing. First Class coaches, keen, supportive, seemingly effortlessly effective at transforming our play. The structure of the week worked perfectly and couldn’t have been better. It’s no surprise Active Away holidays are so highly recommended - I will certainly be booking again!

Faultless on every level. Brilliant coaching that is adapted to each player and taught in a way that builds your technique with tactics embedded in each session so that it sticks when you leave. Glorious hotel, staff and facilities. A joy to be in the group for dinners and take time out on the beach. Daphnilla Bay Corfu 16-23 September 2023 I had the most amazing time away with Active Away. This was my first tennis trip and I absolutely loved the whole experience. The resort (Daphnilla Bay Corfu) was a perfect location. 20 mins from the airport by taxi/ mini bus transfer.The resort itself is beautiful. The tennis courts, pool ,beach and other facilities were all within a very short walking distance from the main building, which is ideal. The coaching team were fantastic with our group of 24, fun, very informative and I would highly recommend a trip with Active Away. Date of experience: 16 September 2022

This was our 4th Active Away holiday and I absolutely loved it. We got to meet a whole new bunch of fun tennis loving people making for great tennis and socialising. Before coming I was worried that I might find the coaching programme a bit repetitive but yet again I have learnt new things. I really felt my tennis improved over the week, but most of all I had a lot of fun. George, Jack, Ollie and Steve were excellent coaches and good fun to be around. I can’t wait for my next trip which I’ve already booked!

Active Away holidays are beautifully organised. The staff make you part of their team. The tennis sessions are varied, fun and are catered for lots of levels. The food, drink and activities off the court are top quality.

This is my third time away with this company. What brings me back is the quality of the coaching , the attention to detail from pre booking, communication and the actual week The venue was great with courts a very short walk away. The accommodation was good with all amenities on hand and friendly staff. Active Away have a genuine passion for tennis and their clients are their priority all week . The tennis is complemented by the social aspects of the group so that even as a single person it doesn't matter. The team leader and the coaches are on hand to give you recommendations for the day off and have the ability to make all standards welcome because of the research prior to the start of the holiday. I always come away having learned lots of tips, making new friends and thinking it was hard to top. So if you want a tennis holiday with the perfect balance of coaching, play and friendly socialising in a group then Active Away is perfect.

A 6 star ****** tennis holiday We have just enjoyed a fabulous week of great fun, tennis instruction and play in Corfu - more specifically 22.5hrs of coaching, doubles play and an end of week Active Away Cup Tournament curated by Jamie Murray MBE. The week was expertly and enthusiastically hosted by Steve Davies, founder and co-owner of Active Away, and his great team of Alex, Jack and Peter. All four coaches were excellent, delightful and complemented each other extremely well. They all worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the week was a success, both on and off the court, and could not have done more to help every player. My wife and I feel that tennis holidays do not get any better than this. This was our third one with Active Away and we’re going to book for two more with them next year. And special thanks to Steve 🙏 🙏. After a couple of private lessons he’s given me two new shots to come home with - the sliced backhand and backhand dropshot, so I’m delighted! Amazing value and great tennis in wonderful surroundings

First time with Active Away but won’t be the last. Being new to tennis I was not quite sure what to expect but the coaching staff and organisation was fantastic. The week was a mixture of learning new doubles skills, drills and social competitions. All the learning we backed up with theory, practical drills and follow up notes. The hotel we stayed at in Corfu was exception with great service and enough free time scheduled to relax and enjoy the sun and beach.

This was my first trip with Active Away and I'd highly recommend it! The week was really well organised with an overall itinerary and daily details shared via WhatsApp to the group. The hosts and coaches (one coach per 6 people) had great personalities and were all really skilled and knowledgeable in the theory they were teaching and demonstrating. The days were a mix of theory, demos, drills, social and team competitive match play - all with an overriding sense of fun! The key 'take aways' from each day were reaffirmed and shared. It all exceeded my expectations and I will be booking with Active Away again!

Just back from an Active Away week in Corfu at Daphnila Bay. Beautiful hotel, but apart from that, this is an extremely effective, well thought-out programme which has been fine-tuned over the years, and the host and coaches are absolutely magnificent at what they do. They manage to accommodate all levels of play, all personalities, singles, couples - all sorts - and keep them engaged and positive for a week while actually improving their tennis! My husband doesn't actually play but is still very much included in the group and thoroughly enjoys it. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Active Away for a really focused tennis-based week with a very inclusive social element.

I just had one week at Daphnila Bay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts and hotel staff were incredible and it is one of the top 3 holidays I've ever experienced. The amount of court time is just perfect and the social doubles was both competitive but really good fun. The beach is amazing and I found it a nice relaxing place in between the morning and afternoon sessions. I would highly recommend Active Away if you want to improve your tennis, make friends and have a great week in the sun.

I wanted doubles strategy and match play with intermediate to advances players and that is what I got with bells on. Great host, excellent coaches and lovey people to hang with in a fantastic location.

Overall an amazing holiday! From the very start the experience was amazing, effective and easy booking process and great communication. We felt like we were in safe hands the whole time. I have had a lovely week at Crete with Active Away. Accommodation at the Kalimera Kriti resort is very decent, catering are at good standard, view is stunning especially at sunset ! Active away is a very professional tennis holiday organiser and all their coaches are very friendly and experienced ! A BIG thank you to JOSH the partner of Active Away who has helped to postponed my flight ticket and sorted out my Covid pass just a few hours before I have to go to the airport at a Friday night ! We had a great week of coaching with Steve and his team. My goodness they challenged us with amazing drills and entertained us with a fantastic quiz on a road trip we took due to rain eliminating any play for a day. I can see that people love Sani but there was a lot of very young children there so thank god for an adult only area for breakfast.

An outstanding week of tennis development and fun. Tennis coaching was excellent and the level of “in-the-moment” input was significantly ahead of other courses we have been on. The 24/7 energy from the coaches and gorgeous people on the course has made this a holiday to remember and repeat!

My husband (a non-player) and I have been on several Active Away tennis holidays and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. It would be reasonable to expect the coaching to be of a high standard, and it is, but what has greatly impressed us, apart from the coaching, is the friendly, professional and apparently tireless way the coaches interact with every single one of the guests throughout the week. All ages, all stages of tennis, they make every effort on the court and off it, to ensure that everyone integrates into the group, and nobody is left out. We are in our late 70s (!) and we find this level of social ease really exceptional. Every one of the team is clearly picked as much for this as for their coaching expertise. Just returned from a great week of tennis in Corfu. It was amazing to be out there playing tennis again. ActiveAway did everything possible to ensure this holiday went ahead with incredible flexibility, good communication and clear advice during these challenging times. The hotel was great with super food and excellent service. But most of all the tennis was brilliant. The coaching as always was first rate with its focus on improving your doubles play, which it did!
