My husband and I have just returned from our 2nd Active Away Holiday (Beach Club Majorca) and have had the most fantastic time. Everything about an Active Away Holiday is just First Class, from the ease of booking to the transfers to the actual quality of coaching/drills is second to none. I can honestly say if you have a love of tennis then don’t hesitate to book an Active Away Holiday, you will NOT be disappointed. Aside from the 22.5 hours tennis coaching/matches we also had some private coaching. During our week we had the pleasure of George (the lead of the group) who was just a delight, then Jack who was in charge of admin/organisation of the wattsapp messaging to inform us of our daily schedule was the most efficient, fab coach, then there was Alex, the most talented, humble exceptional coach who put us both through our paces on our last day! And Jamie, the newbie :-) such a sweetie, you’re going far young man! Thank you for such an unforgettable week of tennis at the Beach Club!

My wife and I have just finished another superb ActiveAway tennis holiday, this time at the all inclusive Beach Club Hotel in Font de sa Casa, Majorca.The food and service at the hotel was excellent, such friendly staff.George, one of coaches met us the airport and the hotel transfer was comfortable and efficient. Our room was centrally located just a minute away from the main restaurant and the tennis courts, as well as one of the two main swimming pools.The tennis experience was superb, as we have come to expect from ActiveAway, with expert master classes, very useful drills and tuition.The coaches, George, Jack, Alex and Jamie provided us with numerous tips, hints and feedback during the week and hosted us at dinner. They made everyone feel most welcome and special, particularly the single participants, and dealt with any minor issues swiftly and effectively.We really value the hard work put in by the coaches during the week, their organisation skills were admirable.Thank you for a brilliant experience, ActiveAway, and we are already looking forward to our next tennis holiday

This was my very first tennis holiday, and honestly, I was a bit nervous at the start since I don’t play tennis that often. The idea of a whole week of tennis felt pretty overwhelming! But Active Away made it such an amazing experience — the coaching was great, everything was really well organised, and I felt supported the whole time. Everyone was so positive and welcoming. Even if, like me, you’re not a regular tennis player, you’ll have the best time on this holiday!

A fantastic week of tennis with exceptional coaching in a relaxed atmosphere . The location was good with a super hotel and plenty of variety of dining experience.

This was my second active away holiday and just like last time it was incredible! The week is thoroughly planned out and despite unfortunately having rain on both weeks, the coaches worked hard to consistently communicate with the hotel /adapt to ensure everything went smoothly and we played as much tennis as possible! All four coaches George, Jack, Alex and Jamie were very welcoming, knowledgeable and made sure every single person had an amazing week! From the moment you arrive, they’re there to welcome you into the hotel and help you settle in. They also create an encouraging and supportive atmosphere so it’s easy to get to know other people, help eachother and ask questions without any judgement. It was great recapping what I learnt last year; I have improved and feel much more confident playing doubles now. Would recommend this for anyone whether you’re going solo or coming with family/friends!

Active Away is an amazing company, we have done 2 tennis holidays with them now, one in Majorca and one in Corfu- both of them were amazing, fantastic experiences. The hosts and coaches are just lovely, and great fun as well as being supportive. The programme is brilliant, and the hotels just awesome! Tennis is the sun, all inclusive, great people and great food? What's not to love!?Can't wait to go on the next Tennis Holiday!

Fantastic Active away tennis holiday - highly recommend!I had a brilliant time on my active away tennis holiday at beach club font de sa Cala. The week was so well organised with morning drills and afternoon match play. There were 24 player and 4 coaches in our group so a good ratio of 6 player to one coach. The 4 coaches were premier league players in their local clubs and had extensive experience to share. All 4 coaches (George Cann, Jack Sharp, Jamie and Alex juniper) were excellent. Jack was the host for the week and ran a tight ship! I had a private lesson with George which was great fun and I learned lots.I travelled with 3 friends from my local club in Scotland. Unfortunately our cases didn’t arrive with us and the group of players on the trip were so kind and offered us to wear their kit and shoes. There was a really fun atmosphere within the group. Jack and George were on hand at the resort to meet us despite a very delayed arrival at 11pm on sat. They helped sort us out with kit to allow us to play. It was Jamie’s first week working as a coach with active away and he did a brilliant job. He played so well in the exhibition match! We had a group dinner out on the Wednesday and it was such a giggle. There were awards presented at the end of the week and it was a fantastic end to a brilliant week. Me and team Scotland are already looking at booking our next active away holiday! Thanks to all the coaches for all their hard work and dedication. Their enthusiasm is infectious!

Coaching was high quality and fun. The coaches were also brilliant hosts and made us feel welcome and looked after. Because of this atmosphere everyone on the holiday was very sociable. I would highly recommend especially if going alone

Having met Steve at the Lensbury we booked a holiday at the Beach Club resort Mallorca.Booking was easy, pre arrival calls informative then when we started the holiday we were greeted at the airport by lead coach and host Joel, whisked away in a new minibus and on arrival greeted by coaches Owen and Jack. Hotel facilities excellent. Coaching brilliant for differing levels of the 15 guestsWe were all made to feel special by them through instruction, encouragement and later socialising. Nothing was too much for Coach Joel. In the evening he arranged a 90 inch TV to watch the Madrid tennis. So it's a 10 out of 10 for Active away please Go Try and Play,... (you will Not be disappointed)

I'd encourage anyone who enjoys tennis to book a holiday with Active Away. For context, I was a solo traveller who only manages to play an hour a week in the UK and I can genuinely say I had a brilliant time! The coaching sessions were tailored to be spot-on both for me and everyone up to competitive club players. As well as improving our skills on the court, the hosting/coaching team really cared about making sure everyone felt included and was having fun off the court. The group enjoyed plenty of laughs alongside some friendly competition and I'm sure I'll be booking again.

Another fantastic week with Active Away with 11 members from our club, with 4 extremely talented coaches that went out of their way to be inclusive, friendly and professional. The end of week exhibition match was one of our highlights and we were all sad to leave. We're just looking forward to planning our next one!

Our second active away holiday and had a fantastic time. Tom, Josh, Conner and Josh were fantastic hosts and coaches. The coaching sessions were really good and I feel I’ve definitely learned some new skills and approaches to take home and use on the courts. We will definitely be booking again and look forward to trying a different resort next time!

Active Away tennis is a great way to hone your doubles tactics and skills. The team are great and will do their best to accommodate every level of play to ensure the clients have a great time. They make it all really fun and also go out of their way to ensure non tennis time is really enjoyable.

Just returned from Mallorca with Active Away for the most wonderful coached Tennis Holiday. This was my 3rd time and I will be making another booking soon for sure. The head coach Nick was wonderful and there for any help anyone needed at any time. The coaching team and programme is always very good and when I return my doubkes play is so much better. Another fantastic holiday, good quality coaching, great social tennis to put into practise the morning coaching. The hotel was really beautiful food was lovely, good gym and pools. Great organisation and hosting, great for singles, or groups from clubs.

Met some interesting people and had many great conversations about tennis and many other topics. Loved the padel tennis session that was arranged for us all, but tennis is still number 1. some also enjoyed the beach volleyball whilst the rest of us cheered from the sidelines

Another great trip with AA to Beach Club Mallorca. Great host in Josh and superb team of young sociable keen coaches. Decent hotel barely any brits their and good courts. 32 degrees every day and a great little town 5 mins away in a cab which had a great nightlife.

it was my first time on an Active Away Tennis Holiday. I was a solo traveller and it was easy for me to integrate with the group due to the format of the tennis sessions. Mine was an all-inclusive holiday in a beautiful location at the lovely Beach Club Majorca. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and plentiful. The tennis coaching is first class from a talented team of supportive and friendly coaches. I had a great time on this fab holiday!

Trip to Font de Sa Cala May 2022. The Active Away team holiday experience was fantastic. The pre holiday organisation was efficient and told you what needed to be done and when. The arrival and transfer process was smooth at Palma airport. The resort hotel was a beautiful location by the sea and had amazing clay courts. The best bit about the trip was the tennis coaching and organised social tennis. I learned so much new stuff with the new doubles programme. The team were professional, friendly and gelled well with the group. They made our stay a real treat and the masterclassses were a great innovation. The coaching is the main reason I would come back and do another holiday in the future. The hotel amenities were very good but the Wi-Fi was unpredictable. The coaching team recommended places to go to which were all excellent. Overall the trip was memorable and I would say if you like tennis it’s a no brainier. Just book.

Majorca was probably one of the best Active Away holidays I have taken. The courts were in fantastic condition and I feel that my tennis has definitely improved whilst also having a great time socially. Best holiday for a long long time. Helen

We have just returned from Crete with Active Away - our first tennis holiday. We had a fabulous time! The tennis coaching was extremely useful and I’m sure will improve our match play hugely. The coaches were excellent, not just in their coaching and tennis skills, but also supportive, encouraging and just great fun on and off court. For a group of young chaps (mostly!), they showed huge maturity managing a bunch of varied standards and personalities. We’ve met some lovely people that we hope to meet up with in future Active Away ventures. The resort was very comfortable, a huge choice of good food, and staff very friendly, with entertainment every night if you wanted. We will definitely be doing another Active Away and can’t recommend it highly enough!

Great holidays. Excellent tennis coaching but also very enjoyable. The head coach organises a social programme so it's a great holiday for both singles, couples and groups. You can mix with the group as much or as little as you wish. There is time for relaxing, swimming and sunbathing too. The coaches have a good sense of humour and tennis sessions are great fun. They are also very helpful in sorting out any problems that occasionally arise whilst away. Active away research and visit all the venues themselves so the hotels and facilities are a high standard. I would thoroughly recommended Active Away.
