Designed to make adults more skilled and self assured doubles players – Jamie has developed a programme that will give you the knowledge and understanding of a top level doubles player (all pitched at club level players)!

After watching some of the best tennis in the world, there’s nothing more you want to do than play yourself! We might not get you to ATP/WTA level, but we can definitely make you a more competent and confident doubles player with our Jamie Murray programme.

We love watching the best Tennis Players in the world compete, and have handpicked some of the best locations to watch them in action!
Most of these events are in incredible cities – which you’ll have chance to explore as part of the itinerary!
About our Play & Watch Events
Group Make Up
All of our Play & Watch events are a mixture of Singles, Couples & Small Groups. Typical group Sizes range from 8-20.
1:6 Ratio
Our tennis coaching sessions are always a maximum of 1 Coach to 1 Court to 6 Players on our Play & Watch Events.
Package Travel Protected
Your booking is fully package travel protected with Active Away. In the unlikely event of insolvency, you would be reimbursed.
Airport Transfers
We can take care of Airport Transfers for you! You can choose any flight and our team will be there to take care of you.
Flights
Are not included in our Play & Watch events, but we provide a simple link to help you find the perfect flight for you.
Fixed Dates
Our trips are ‘fixed dates’ – meaning our itinerary starts and ends of specific dates. A top tip – add extra nights at the start or the end!

Went on the activeaway in Denia (Oliva Nova) in Oct and really had a fantastic time. Cam ran a great programme for us all - he was organised, professional and fun. Andrea will definitely go far in the company too - she was bursting with positivity and encouragement. Learnt a lot of padel techniques, everyone seemed to get things out of it whether they were intermediate or advanced. I will definitely be going on another one.

What’s the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon? On the Jamie Murray VIP Client Day! We had 2 hours on court with Jamie, which was great fun (hope he enjoyed it too!) followed by a Q&A session with him. Active Away’s Play & Watch Tennis Events are curated experiences that blend the excitement of watching professional tennis matches with the opportunity to enhance your own game through coaching sessions. These events are designed for tennis enthusiasts who wish to immerse themselves in the sport, both as spectators and players.
Experiencing Wimbledon offers tennis enthusiasts a unique blend of experiencing the best grand slam event as well as playing yourself! We are currently working on a Wimbledon Play & Watch event – stay tuned!
You’ll need to check the ‘product page’ for the play and watch event you are booking. However we tend to book tickets that offer a good view and are seated with your fellow participants.
Yes! We take great pride in the fact that our Play & Watch events are package travel protected. If the FCO advises against travel to your destination, we have to legally refund you within 14 days.
Yes, certainly! Many of our guests chose to attend Active Away Play & Watch events on their own. Just select the single occupancy supplement when booking and our host team will ensure you are well looked after from the moment you arrive!
