I had the most wonderful time with Active Away on an adult tennis holiday in Turkey recently. The coaching is unreal and such high quality. The coaches are knowledgeable , skilled , enthusiastic , kind fun and can adapt their teaching to all abilities. Great weather, food and holiday resorts offering small group coaching through a brilliant talented team of tennis players who are always on hand in a constructive and supportive way ..but don’t take it too seriously! This was year 3 with Active Away who consistently put the fun into tennis- laugh while you learn!

Booking the trip was straightforward. All logistics were taken care of so we could just enjoy the holiday. The tennis coaches were excellent and explained things really well. They were also very supportive and took time with everyone. The whole vibe was positive and fun - I will definitely book again.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Liberty Village, Turkey - our first 'Active Away' holiday. It was an amazing, fun and extremely well organised week.If you like tennis, exercise, socialising, sunshine and good food and drink - then this is the perfect holiday. Mornings consisted of drills to help with doubles tactics and the afternoon was match play. We had 9 coaches who were fun, entertaining, encouraging and well trained. The resort is incredible. A beautiful setting with so many fabulous sections for relaxing by the sea as well as bars and restaurants - all inclusive. My favourite part of the day was walking down from an afternoon session on the courts at 6 pm, with fellow tennis players and coaches, to the bar on the sea front for an aperitif, just as the sun was setting. Already planning to tell my tennis mates from home about it.

For a couple who have done many tennis holidays at home and abroad in the past, our first Active Away in Liberty Lykia last week was an eye-opener - why were we trying all the rest when this is clearly the best?! This is a brilliantly slick, professional and highly-evolved tennis programme, delivered in a beautiful setting, with enormous warmth, fun and good humour, by a group of highly talented individuals. The leadership team is positive, engaged and responsive, and this attitude is embodied in everyone encountered from the booking process onwards. Nothing short of remarkable.

The location was stunning, with world-class tennis facilities and expert coaching that catered to players of all levels. As someone who attended with a partner, I found the atmosphere incredibly welcoming and inclusive.The food was simply delicious, with a wide range of options that catered to all tastes and dietary requirements. And even though I attended as a couple, it was evident that the holiday would be just as enjoyable for solo travellers.All in all, I cannot recommend this tennis holiday enough. From the top-notch coaching to the exquisite cuisine, it was an unforgettable experience that I cannot wait to repeat!

I had such a great holiday with Active Away. I’ve made great friends and my tennis has improved so much. The tennis coaches were awesome and gave us 110% on and off the court. Where do i begin!!!! 5 star all the way! The Active Away team headed up by Steve and Alex made our first tennis holiday a really positive experience. We were at the resort Liberty Lykia, near Dalaman Turkey. I learnt so much and my confidence as a player grew….. I owe that to all the amazing coaches but need to mention Cam, he brought hearty positivity and most importantly fun. Active Aways’ choice of hotel for a tennis coaching holiday was a perfect setting with mountain and sea backdrops were just stunning. There was plenty to do for those who don’t or can’t play tennis. The accommodation and food for an all inclusive was excellent. Having a yoga stretch session specifically for tennis play before a day of tennis was so beneficial and enforces their commitment to ensure their guests to have the best experience. Any, and I mean any queries or worries you bring to the team are responded with an excellent, ‘let’s get this sorted now’. We will be back next year….a really awesome holiday. Thanks Active Away. Such a great time with Active Away at Liberty Lykia in Turkey. The tennis coaching was second to none - Steve and his team had lots of energy and great tips/strategies. They joined us in the evenings for socials and were generally great fun. The hotel was great - a couple of small hiccups but were rectified immediately with a smile on their face. We will definitely be coming back.

Our first Active Away experience was as a family at the Liberty Lykia resort in Turkey. The resort itself was fabulous with something for everyone. Being the tennis enthusiast, I found the tennis programme hugely beneficial and this was delivered by a team of high quality coaches who were very personable. Our young children loved the tennis sessions and also spending time with the coaches between sessions at the water park, beach and pool which was a nice touch. We had one non tennis player in the family who had the most relaxing time using the spa and other facilities at the resort. She did have her first ever tennis lesson with one of the coaches and was a natural, so fingers crossed this continues. Thank you to all the team and we would highly recommend the family week which has something for everyone.

Fantastic holidays for tennis enthusiasts.

I’ve recently returned from an Active Away Tennis holiday in Liberty Lykia in Turkey, a stunning location by the sea. As a solo traveller all the stress is taken away, from regular updates including the week’s itinerary, to the meet & greet at the airport & seamless hotel transfers. Although i couldn’t take part due to an injury i could still attend the master class demonstrations & learn from the best. The content of the programme takes into consideration your ability & experience, with the coaches constantly liaising with each other to ensure the best outcome for the individual. It was great to witness the camaraderie which was largely due to the professional coaches being enthusiastic, motivational & encouraging both on & off court. It looks amazing fun. There is so much to do on site, if you need a break from watching the tennis, you can use one if the many pools, try out a Padel demo class, do yoga, go to the spa, the list is endless. The hotel, the staff, the choice & quality of the food were all excellent. A big part of the experience is meeting like minded people in a very social setting as you are made to feel so welcome by everyone. I can’t wait to return next year to take part in this exceptional tennis programme.

I’ve just been on my first active away holiday to Liberty Lykia in Turkey and absolutely loved the week. What made it really special was the wonderful coaches who brought so much energy to the tennis sessions and also the other clients on the holiday who were a joy to meet. I am a fairly new tennis player and felt the programme was well suited to people of all standards, I learnt a lot and it has made me keen to start playing again back home. I really liked the social aspect of the trip- you really get to know people easily and would feel included if you were a solo traveller. The resort was wonderful and food on the whole delicious. Liberty Lykia Venue was great. Food, weather, surroundings, entertainments and other activities all amazing. Coaches were super friendly and helpful and were all really personable. Superb tennis and holiday experience with active away. With a high standard of tennis coaching with insightful doubles drills and arranging match play games to finish a highly energetic day. Then arranging sunset drinks over looking the beech tops off a day of tennis. Group meals and socialising on the evening completes a delightful day, all professionally arranged by the hosting team.

We really enjoyed our holiday with Active Away at Liberty/Lykia in Turkey this year. This was our fourth time with Active Away and we have already booked our fifth holiday with them for next year. Great hospitality, coaching and atmosphere!

I approached this holiday with trepidation. I am a frequent but very average tennis player who is easily intimidated by better players. Matt and team are masters at ensuring that all players are able to maximise their skills, at every level, whilst engendering a fabulous atmosphere of fun and friendship. The organisation of hotel services and logistics generally was superb. A very slick and professionally run specialist travel company. Our hotel was truly 5* with staff who clearly valued and enjoyed looking after its ActiveAway guests. We really did have a memorable holiday which we hope to repeat very soon.

Amazing first tennis holiday with Active Away. I was on my own but not once ever felt alone. The whole experience from start to finish was simply outstanding - from the coaching, to the organising, to the people both the team and fellow players. A very structured set of lessons to provide a fantastic basis for any doubles player to understand the game better, be in the right position and so play more effectively and win more often. All delivered in a great, friendly fun environment. Coaches are relaxed but very knowledgeable. Resort was ideal, with plenty of opportunities for down time as well as 4 hours plus of tennis per day.

Just returned from Dalaman in Turkiye, this is the best tennis holiday I have ever been on. I went last year for the first time and will return again next year. The whole Active Away team are superb and the tennis program is superb. The week is hectic but in a good way and the hotel and facilities are wonderful.

This was our first Active Away tennis holiday and it certainly won’t be our last! We stayed at the Liberty Lykia in Turkey set in the most stunning location with excellent facilities, good food and friendly staff. I was slightly apprehensive about going on a tennis holiday at my level of tennis but Steve and his team have developed an excellent programme to cater for the various standards of players. The mornings were spent working on specific areas of the doubles game and after having the middle of the day to relax by the pool or on the beach, in the late afternoon we got a chance to play and put into practice what we’d learnt. It was great having the opportunity to play with other players of all levels. The whole coaching team of Steve, Alex, Ria, Sophie, Dan, Paul and Ollie were professional, kind, motivating and fun. At the end of the week we were treated to an exhibition match by the coaches, all I can say about that is AWESOME! Aside from the tennis we were looked after the whole time, from start to finish everything was well organised and any queries we had were quickly answered. We got to meet loads of lovely people all of whom made it a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We will definitely be booking many more trips with Active Away. Thank you Steve and team.
