Welcome to your Active Away Pickleball Holiday at Lyttos Mare! After arriving at Heraklion Airport, you'll be transferred to the hotel –** just 25 minutes away**. Take time to settle in, explore the resort, and soak up the Cretan sun.

There are no coaching sessions today, so it's a chance to relax and prepare for the exciting week ahead. We'll meet as a group for dinner at 20:30 in the Main Restaurant – a relaxed evening with delicious Mediterranean dishes and a chance to get to know your fellow guests.

Fuel up with a leisurely breakfast from 08:00 at the buffet before we officially kick off the holiday at 09:30 with a welcome meeting at the Lyttos Pickleball Centre. Meet your coaching team and fellow players before stepping onto the courts at 10:00 for your first session, covering serve, return, and baseline drives – a perfect foundation for the week.

We break for lunch at 13:00 in the Main Restaurant, followed by time to relax, explore, or enjoy the pool. In the afternoon, we return to the courts for a match play session focusing on tactical shot selection and gameplay tips.

From 20:00, meet at the Lobby Bar before heading to the Main Restaurant for a relaxed group dinner and some great conversation.

After breakfast, it's back to the courts at 10:00. Today’s morning session focuses on neutralising your opponent using third shot drops and transitions – one of the most essential parts of the modern Pickleball game.

Following lunch, enjoy free time to unwind by the pool or explore the beach. We return to the courts in the afternoon for another match play block, continuing to build your tactical awareness in live scenarios.

In the evening, join us for a group dinner at the Taverna Restaurant, where local Cretan flavours meet friendly group vibes.

After a relaxing breakfast, we head to the courts for a coaching session on the 4th shot – learning how to deal with third shot drops and make strategic decisions when under pressure. This session includes conditioned points and expert guidance.

At 12:00, we break for coffee at the Lobby Bar, followed by a group lunch at the Main Restaurant. After a break, we return to the courts for more match play, focusing on applying the day’s tactical lessons.

In the evening, we enjoy dinner at either the Argentinian Steakhouse or the Asian Restaurant (advance booking required, and a small supplement may apply). Both options offer something special for your midweek meal.

Today’s morning session is all about the kitchen. You’ll practise six types of dink shots, with drills and gameplay focused on consistency, patience, and control. A cool-down and stretch follows to help you reset before lunch.

In the afternoon, it’s back to match play – a final opportunity to fine-tune your tactics ahead of tomorrow’s tournament.

We finish the day with another fantastic dinner at the Argentinian Steakhouse or Asian Restaurant, giving you one last chance to enjoy the resort’s à la carte dining options.

After breakfast, it’s time for our fun and competitive American Doubles-style tournament – a great way to bring together everything you’ve learned over the week in a supportive team format.

Lunch follows at the Main Restaurant, before we regroup for the Coaches Exhibition Match – always a crowd-pleaser – and our final presentation to celebrate the week’s progress, laughter, and new friendships.

That evening, we head out for a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant (approx. €10 for travel + €45 for the meal), or you can opt to dine at the Taverna for a relaxed final evening.

After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye.
