These are the arrival and departure days for our Adult Tennis Holidays to Royal Mare Hotel, Crete. We can arrange an Airport Transfer for you, or alternatively you can meet us at the hotel.

We will have a welcome meeting on the arrival day & be there to say goodbye when you depart.

The first day of Tennis! Your morning coaching session will be from 10:00 – 12:00 & focused around Being Dominate From The Back & acclimatising to the weather.

Catch up with the coaching team and the main group – 13:00 at the Albatros Restaurant, treat yourself to a glass of wine!

Meet back at the courts for a Tennis Masterclass from 16:30 – 17:00. Kick back and watch our most important masterclass where our coaches demonstrate the importance of – finding your Doubles DNA.

Then it’s your turn to play – 17:00 – 19:00 we observe you play in our Doubles Winners up / Runner up Down Social whilst giving you coaching tips on your Doubles DNA!

The day isn’t quite over yet – dinner with the group in the Sympossio Restaurant, followed by drinks in the bar.

Day 2 of tennis is here, and it’s time to work on your net play. Start the day from 9:30 – 10:00 with our Decision Making at the Net Masterclass. 10:00 – 12:00 is all about Controlling the Net

After you’ve worked up a sweat it’s time for lunch with a view at the Albatros Restaurant.

After a well-deserved afternoon break, join us from 17:00 – 19:00 – for our American Doubles Social.

Dinner Time! Tonight we are eating in the a la carte restaurant, a real treat!

It’s time to get up and at it! Meet us at the courts for our – How to Break Serve session from 10:00 – 12:00.

Grab a quick lunch with the group at 13:00 and catch up after the tennis session. Something cold is definitely required after the morning session!

It’s back up to the Tennis Courts for 16:30 as we deliver a Masterclass on Starting and Ending Points. Then the real ‘Battle of the Brits’ begin! You’ll be on either the British Bulldogs or Union Jacks and compete for your team. It’s all doubles, super fun and the winning team are crowned champions.

It’s another fantastic evening ahead, with a buffet dinner followed by drinks and dancing!

After a busy few days – today is yours’ to relax! We will give you a few options for a day trip – including visiting the stunning Agios Nikolaos.

You can choose to join the group in the evening, or arrange your own meal at one of the fantastic restaurants.

Let’s get back to tennis! Today we will be working on Power Positions for the morning coaching session, which is a fast paced coaching session with 3-4 ‘mini sessions’ based around positional play in Doubles.

It’s the usual for lunch, we recommend a fresh coffee after lunch – the coffee at Royal Mare is excellent.

For the Tennis Masterclass session at 16:30, today we give you our Active Away Doubles Principles. We hope you find them useful and be sure to tell us which one is your favourite!

Then it’s your time to play! Find a partner for the Doubles Social & the coaching team will be looking out to see which principles you are going to take home with you.

After a full day of Tennis it’s time for a well earned dinner in the Main Restaurant at 20:00.

Sadly, today is your last full day and to crown the week off in style, we will have a Hopman Cup -Champagne Social Doubles Tournament.

We will split everyone into even teams, and you’ll have a coach captaining your team and guiding you through your matches. It’s designed to be fun & friendly with a dose of competitiveness (oh and don’t forget the most important part of the morning – the half-time champagne break)!

After battling it out in the Champagne Tournament, it’s time for a well deserved lunch. Today we will have a late lunch in the Albatros restaurant, to recharge after using all of that energy.

Now, it’s your turn to heckle the coaching team and give us pointers on our tennis skills. Watch them play an exhibition match from 17:00 – 18:00. Make sure to bring your best banter!

Join us for our round-up Presentation, where we fully welcome you into our Active Away Family, with some prizes on offer for the best moments of the week. It’s full of smiles & laughter – a lovely way to round off an unforgettable week of Tennis in Crete!

Now, to crown the week off we head out in to the local town of Cherssonisos – to one of our absolute favourite restaurant’s – ‘Kymata.’ Kymata is set over the lovely Aegean sea, with fresh seafood & fabulous wine, it truly is a Greek Delight. Then, if you’d like to continue the evening we head to a lovely beach bar. Please Note – the last evening is at an additional charge.
