Family Tennis Holiday - 5* Liberty Lykia Village

These are the arrival and departure days for our Family Tennis Holidays to Liberty Lykia, Turkey. We can arrange an Airport Transfer for you, or alternatively you can meet us at the hotel.

Upon departure, if you are arranging your own transfers, please let the host know your timings and we will be there to say goodbye.

It’s your first day of Tennis! You’ve made it to the sensational Liberty Lykia Village, had a good night to sleep and it’s time now to start your Family Tennis Holiday with the first tennis session.

The morning coaching session is from 10:00 – 12:00 and we coach the kids & adults separately. The session content is similar though and we start by focusing on Being Dominant From The Back. It’s always fun, fast paced and engaging.

The nice thing about our Family Tennis Holidays is the option to mix in with the other families. All meal times are organised, meaning you can hang out with the coaches and other families. Today for lunch (13:00) we are eating in the main restaurant

Meet back at the courts for a Tennis Masterclass from 15:30 – 16:00. Kick back and watch our most important masterclass where our coaches demonstrate the importance of – finding your Doubles DNA.

Then it’s your turn to play – 16:00 – 18:00 we observe you play in our Doubles Winners up / Runner up Down Social whilst giving you coaching tips on your Doubles DNA!

After working hard on the Tennis Court all day, we eat as group in the evening! Today we’ve chosen the main buffet restaurant as it has everything on offer for the whole family!

By now you are into the rhythm of the Family Tennis Holiday. Day 2 of tennis is here, and it’s time to work on your net play. Start the day from 9:30 – 10:00 with our Decision Making at the Net Masterclass. 10:00 – 12:00 is all about Controlling the Net

Why not join the rest of the group for a nice lunch at 13:00, followed by a little waterpark action in the afternoon.

After a well-deserved afternoon break, join us from 16:00 – 18:00 – for our American Doubles Social.

Dinner Time! Tonight we will head to one of the A La Carte Restaurants for a great meal with the whole group!

It’s time to get up and at it! Meet us at the courts for our – How to Break Serve session from 10:00 – 12:00. You’ll definitely be ready for a rest by the beach/pool after this session.

Join the coaches and the rest of the group for a lovely lunch at 13:00 – then the afternoon is yours to relax.

It’s back up to the Tennis Courts for 15:30 as we deliver a Masterclass on Starting and Ending Points. Then the real ‘Battle of the Brits’ begin! You’ll be on either the British Bulldogs or Union Jacks and compete for your team. It’s all doubles, super fun and the winning team are crowned champions. One of the nice things about Paloma Orenda is the Tennis Courts are only a very short walk no matter where you are in the resort.

For dinner – it’s most adults’ favourite evening! Tonight the coaches take care of the kids and the adults have a free evening to do as they please!

It’s the Day Off! Choose to relax by the beach, head to the waterpark or see a few options for a day trip. Just ask your Active Away Host for recommendations!

Let’s get back to tennis! Today we will be working on Power Positions for the morning coaching session, which is a fast paced coaching session with 3-4 ‘mini sessions’ based around positional play in Doubles.

Today’s lunch is in the Main Restaurant, join us for a relaxing lunch in the Turkish sunshine.

For the Tennis Masterclass session at 15:30, today we give you our Active Away Doubles Principles. We hope you find them useful and be sure to tell us which one is your favourite!

Then it’s your time to play! Find a partner for the Doubles Social & the coaching team will be looking out to see which principles you are going to take home with you.

Tonight is another great night for the adults! The coaches are on hand to look after the kids, while the adults have chance to enjoy a relaxing evening.

The last day of your Active Away Family Tennis Holiday is rounded off in style! We plan a family fun tournament, which involves a variety of different ways of scoring points for your team.

We battle it out for the morning and see which team is crowned the champions of the week! Following the tournament we grab a late lunch in the Main restaurant, with some celebrations for the winners!

Now, it’s your turn to heckle the coaching team and give us pointers on our tennis skills. Watch them play an exhibition match from 17:00 – 18:00. Make sure to bring your best banter!

Join us for our round-up Presentation, where we fully welcome you into our Active Away Family, with some prizes on offer for the best moments of the week. It’s full of smiles & laughter – a lovely way to round off an unforgettable week of Tennis in Turkey!

The week is not quite over yet though, as we end the week in style at one of the A La Carte Restaurants.
