Saturdays are the arrival and departure days for our Adult Tennis Holidays to Kalimera Kriti, Crete. We can arrange an Airport Transfer for you, or alternatively you can meet us at the hotel.

Upon departure, if you are arranging your own transfers, please let the host know your timings and we will be there to say goodbye.

Day 1 of your Active Away Tennis week is here! Join us for a splendid breakfast at the Artemis Restaurant before we meet on the Main Balcony by Reception for a welcome meeting starting at 9:30. Now it’s time to get on court from 10:00 – 12:00 as we deliver our Dominating from The Back session.

Join the group in the Thalassa Restaurant for lunch, a sea front Mediterranean style à la carte meal cooked using traditional Greek ingredients. Have an explore of the mini Cretan village and check out the vast variety of activities available for you in your downtime.

Meet us back at the courts for your first Tennis Masterclass of the week from 16:30 – 17:00. Our Masterclasses are a perfect way to relax and take in some of our top tips which we believe every tennis player should know about! Today we will deliver our most important masterclass – finding your Doubles DNA.

Now it’s your turn to play in our Doubles Winners up / Runner up Down Social – 17:00 – 19:00 – our coaching team will be on court with you, giving you some individual tips on your Doubles DNA!

Your first day is coming to an end! Join us for an aperitif in the bar at 20:00 overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea. Dinner will be at 20:30 in the Artemis Restaurant – followed by live music in the bar.

It’s your second day of Tennis and today we will be working on your net play. Meet us at the courts for 9:30 for a Masterclass on Decision Making at The Net before you get on court – 10:00 – 12:00 – where it’s all about Controlling the Net.

Join us for a coffee or quick drink before lunch at the Thalassa Restaurant by the sea. Why not have a fun game of mini golf in the afternoon or enjoy your time off relaxing by the pool / beach.

After a tranquil afternoon, we will be meeting at the courts at 17:00 for our American Doubles Social. The Social is an exciting opportunity to work on your net play and we will be giving you individualised tips based on what you have learnt so far.

Dinner Time! Let’s meet for a refreshing beverage in the bar for 20:00 followed by an indulgent buffet meal at the Artemis Restaurant. To round off a great day, join us for some entertainment and music in the Main Bar.

It’s time to get up and at it this morning! After a nutritious breakfast, todays session will be from 10:00 – 12:00 – focused on How To Break Serve, you’ll be practicing some new ideas and tactics to use in the afternoon points play!

We’re at the Thalassa Restaurant for lunch at 13:00 today. We recommend checking out the lovely beach bar and using the sun loungers in the white sand, alternatively head to the adults pool (where there is pool service) if you’d prefer.

Todays Masterclass begins at 16:30 on Starting and Ending Points. Now it’s time for some competition as you play in our ‘Battle of the Brits’ Team Tennis Social. You’ll be on either the British Bulldogs or Union Jacks – playing doubles matches to see who will come out on top!

After giving your all these past few days, it’s time to have some downtime! Join us for dinner in the Thalassa Restaurant at 20:30 followed by drinks in the Main Bar.

It’s the day off! We will give you a few options for a day trip – we love visiting the peaceful harbour of Sissi. Explore this nearby fishing village for some beautifully handcrafted souvenirs, authentic Mediterranean Bars / Restaurants and natural swimming pools.

For dinner, please book your own meal, or alternatively join the Coaching Team at the Artemis Restaurant.

We’re back to the courts for 10:00 and ready for day 4 of Tennis! We will be working on Power Positions – with 3 – 4 ‘mini sessions’ focused around positional play in Doubles.

Lunch will be at 13:00 at the Thalassa Restaurant followed by some well earned downtime. If you’re feeling adventurous – checkout the Water Sports Centre for some thrilling activities!

For the Tennis Masterclass session at 16:30, we will be going through our Active Away Doubles Principles. Pick your favourite principles and have a go at using them in our Find a Partner Doubles Social from 17:00 – 19:00. The coaching team will be watching out to see which Principles you put in action!

Dinner will be at the Artemis Restaurant at 20:30 followed by live entertainment in the Main Bar.

Today is your last full day, where has the time gone? To end the phenomenal week of Tennis, we will be hosting a Hopman Cup – Champagne Social Doubles Tournament.

Join us for an earlier breakfast from 7:30 – 8:50 and meet at the courts for 9:00. The Hopman Cup will work by splitting everyone into even teams, and you’ll have a coach captaining your team offering you helpful tips and advice from the week in your matches. With a hint of competitiveness, it’s a brilliant chance to practice the key takeaways from our sessions and don’t forget the most important part, the ambrosial half-time champagne break!

After finishing your week of tennis in style, it’s time for a well deserved lunch in the Thalassa Restaurant at 13:00.

Your mighty efforts and dedication this week has all led up to this moment! Now you have the chance to give the coaching team a hard time – bring some drinks over and watch our exhibition match from 17:00 – 18:00. Don’t forget to bring your best banter!

We will have a presentation shortly after to cap off the sensational week and welcome you into our Active Away Family – with special prizes on offer, reminiscing on the weeks highlights. It’s full of smiles & laughter – a perfect way to conclude on your Tennis Holiday in Crete.

Crowning the week off and bringing us all together for one final evening, we will head out into the local town of Sissi to one of our absolute favourite restaurant’s – Paradosiako. We will arrange transportation for 19:30 and have a drink at the Ormos Bar before we head to the Restaurant. Please Note – the last evening is at an additional charge (approximately €30).
