Most clinics will end with some form of points play for you to practice what you have been working on and it adds a competitive and fun element to end the session. Tennis Clinics for Adults
Tennis clinics for adults are a great way to get some exercise in and have some fun. If you are interested in joining a tennis club, joining a clinic at the club beforehand gives you a chance to find out more about the coaches, social aspects and meet new people. This will give you a better outlook on whether the club will be the right fit for you and what you want to get out of joining a local tennis club. There are many players who have joined a Tennis Clinic for the first time and loved it so much that within months they are signed up to weekly clinics, getting involved with the social aspect of the tennis club and then playing team matches or starting to compete. Tennis Clinics for Children
Children of all ages love the sport of tennis. From pre-schoolers up to age 10, there are different sized and softer balls used to make it easier for the children to develop their skills in tennis, whilst also developing their social skills and making new friends. Tennis Clinics are a great after school activity to keep children fit and healthy. The LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) has helped fund starting clinics for children at local tennis clubs and in schools all across the country because of the benefits they receive from playing tennis. As we are starting to learn in society, visual learning is becoming one of the most engaging ways for people to learn and tennis has the benefit of being a repetitive, visual learning sport that improves visual and auditory processing skills.
A great way to keep your children entertained during the school holidays is at a local club’s tennis camp. The majority of tennis clubs in the UK who have clinics for children, provide a camp during the week days of school holidays where the children are cared for whilst their parents are at work.
