Jamie Murray joined the Active Away community as our brand ambassador in 2024. He's designed our tennis programs on all of our events as well as working with our coaching team to help push our standards on the tennis court.

All of our Tennis Holidays are hosted by a LTA Level 4 Coach. We have an extremely rigorous selection process for our Hosts, with many holidays being hosted by the Active Away Directors themselves. Hosts are friendly, amenable, kind, considerate, passionate, knowledgeable and experienced. They are on hand 24/7 to create your Ultimate Tennis Holiday.

Our Adult Tennis Holidays are targeted at club level doubles players. We’ve created a self rating guide so you can explore where you fit in terms of the Active Away Tennis Standards.

About our Adult Tennis Holidays
Group Make-Up
All of our Adult Tennis Holidays are a mixture of Singles, Couples & Small Groups. Group Sizes range from 8-50.
1:6 Ratio
Our morning tennis coaching sessions are always a maximum of 1 Coach to 1 Court to 6 Players on our Adult Tennis Holidays.
Package Travel Protected
Your booking is fully package travel protected with Active Away. In the unlikely event of insolvency, you would be reimbursed.
Airport Transfers
We can take care of Airport Transfers for you! You can choose any flight and our team will be there to take care of you.
Flights
Are not included in our Adult Tennis Holidays, but we provide a simple link to help you find the perfect flight for you.
Fixed Dates
Our trips are ‘fixed dates’ – meaning our itinerary starts and ends of specific dates. You can add extra nights to your trip, and we can offer 5 night trips.

Went on the activeaway in Denia (Oliva Nova) in Oct and really had a fantastic time. Cam ran a great programme for us all - he was organised, professional and fun. Andrea will definitely go far in the company too - she was bursting with positivity and encouragement. Learnt a lot of padel techniques, everyone seemed to get things out of it whether they were intermediate or advanced. I will definitely be going on another one.

What’s the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon? On the Jamie Murray VIP Client Day! We had 2 hours on court with Jamie, which was great fun (hope he enjoyed it too!) followed by a Q&A session with him. Adult Tennis Holidays in 2025
An Active Away hosted Adult Tennis Holiday involves 7 nights, 22.5 hours of tennis (with a programme designed by Jamie Murray) and an itinerary designed to bring you into the Active Away community.
One of the special things about our tennis holidays is that they are hosted – this means you have one of our experts to lead your trip. They are on hand 24/7 to take care of every little detail for you, from the moment you arrive at the airport to your departure from the hotel.
You’ll also have the opportunity to join a WhatsApp group where you can connect with other attendees. This means you can make new friends and connect with old ones even before you arrive!
On an adult tennis holiday with Active Away – our typical demographic is someone aged between 40-70 years old. They predominately play doubles and love tennis! In the evenings they would love to sit down with the other attendees and share stories over dinner.
We do have many Active Away guests who are outside of these parameters and also have a wonderful time – it’s truly an inclusive experience.

With Active Away all adult tennis holidays are financially protected – providing they have more than 1 part (for example – tennis and accommodation).
We have insurances and cover in place in the unlikely event Active Away was to go insolvent.
Yes, absolutely! Many Active Away guests on adult tennis holidays travel on their own, and this makes for a special experience. We are incredibly inclusive and there will most likely be other members of the trip travelling on their own. We’ve had people make friends for life, and even an Active Away marriage!
Yes, we can share limited data about the individuals currently booked on-to one of our adult tennis holidays. However, we do have changes and cancellations. Don’t forget – someone is always the first to book and someone the last to book. Whichever trip you attend, the formula is the same and you’ll have a superb experience – just have a look at our reviews!
