Across the week, we dine together at a range of carefully selected local restaurants offering everything from fresh Mediterranean flavours to modern international dishes. Each evening is a chance to relax, socialise, and enjoy the very best of Portuguese hospitality.

On your first night, we keep things simple with dinner at the Hilton’s excellent in-house restaurant – a relaxed way to get to know the group. From there, we head out to explore Vilamoura’s vibrant dining spots, where seafood, grilled meats and local wines take centre stage.

With restaurant settings ranging from cosy local favourites to marina-side gems, every meal adds something special to the experience – and of course, we take care of all the reservations.

After a day on court, head to the Pool Bar – a laid-back spot ideal for light snacks and refreshing drinks. Surrounded by lush gardens and sun-soaked terraces, it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Our tennis sessions take place on well-maintained hard courts, ideal for both coaching and match play. The surfaces are consistent, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our structured programme – whether you’re refining technique or diving into competitive doubles.

The academy is a welcoming, friendly venue with excellent facilities, making it the perfect setting for our on-court sessions. For those keen to stay active beyond tennis, the club also offers Padel and Pickleball courts – ideal if you fancy trying something new or extending your time on court.

Tee off in style – If you’re a golfer, try and squeeze in a round at one of the two excellent courses just around the corner. It’s a fantastic way to unwind and take in the Algarve scenery.

We recommend booking a morning flight that lands before 1pm, so you arrive in good time to settle in and join the group for your first tennis session. If you’d like, we can arrange a private airport transfer, or you can make your own way to the hotel – just 30 minutes from Faro Airport.

At 15:30, we’ll gather for a relaxed welcome meeting where you’ll meet your coaching team and fellow guests. Then it’s straight onto court for your first Active Away tennis session in the Portuguese sunshine. In the evening, we keep things easy with dinner at the Hilton’s on-site restaurant – the perfect way to ease into the holiday and start getting to know the group.

After breakfast at the hotel buffet, we’ll make our way to Vilamoura Tennis Academy – just a short 17–20 minute walk or quick taxi ride away. The morning coaching session focuses on tactical play and technique, led by our experienced team.

We enjoy lunch at the club’s café, offering fresh Mediterranean options in a laid-back setting. After lunch, you’ll have free time – whether you fancy a swim back at the hotel, browsing the local shops, or relaxing at the academy. In the afternoon, we return to the courts for two more focused coaching sessions, designed to build your confidence and develop your doubles game.

In the evening, we’ll head out for dinner together at a local restaurant, where you’ll enjoy fantastic food and great company in a sociable setting.

Following breakfast, we return to the academy for another morning of tennis. These sessions are a great mix of high-energy drills, doubles strategies, and personalised coaching, all delivered in a supportive, friendly environment.

We’ll refuel with lunch at the club before you enjoy more free time in the afternoon – perfect for a visit to the spa, a dip in the pool, or perhaps even a round of golf at one of the nearby courses.

We’re back on court late afternoon for more tennis, where we bring together everything we’ve covered so far in competitive match play. In the evening, we dine out again as a group at another fantastic local spot – this time with a focus on authentic Portuguese flavours.

We begin the day with one last breakfast together before heading to the courts for a final morning coaching session. This is a chance to apply what you’ve learned, enjoy some fun games, and celebrate the progress you’ve made throughout the trip.

We’ll wrap up with a short farewell presentation, sharing highlights from the week and saying our goodbyes. Check-out is from 11:00, and we recommend booking an afternoon flight (after 3pm) so you can make the most of your final morning with us.

Set in a peaceful, leafy location, the academy features high-quality hard courts and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both training and sociable match play. It’s just a 17–20 minute walk from the Hilton, or a quick uber ride if you prefer.

If you prefer not to walk, Uber or local taxis are readily available and cost just €5–10 per journey. These can easily be shared with other guests in the group, keeping transport quick, easy, and affordable.
