Considering 2027 🤔

2026 Spring season so far

Amelia Davies Tennis Holidays

Four weeks into the season, and having now spent time across a number of our resorts, it already feels like things have properly got going.

Each resort has its own feel, and a few early favourites have already started to emerge.

Aphrodite Hills

Aphrodite Hills has probably been my favourite so far. Its one of those resorts where everything just feels easy from the start.

The facilities are exceptional - four brand new clay courts (which our group were the first to play on), five hard courts, three resurfaced padel courts and a brand new tennis shop. It genuinely feels like a bit of a racket paradise.

The weather is reliably warm, and the resort team are brilliant - nothing ever feels like too much trouble.

Off court, the dining options were also a highlight. Pithari Tavern, offering some traditional Cypriot food and Fig & Olive, providing Mediterranean dishes were both consistently good, and it’s the kind of place that’s very easy to settle into for the week.

Lyttos Mare

Arriving at Lyttos Mare, the first thing I noticed was the design of the hotel. The horseshoe shape creates a great atmosphere around the main pool bar, which quickly becomes the go-to spot after tennis.

The courts are just across the road at Lyttos Tennis Academy, and the scale of the centre is impressive - 10 hard courts, 7 clay (including 3 indoor), 6 artificial clay, 4 indoor padel, 1 outdoor padel, plus newly built pickleball courts.

With regular ITF events taking place, there’s always tennis being played, and the whole place has a real energy to it.

The Asian restaurant is excellent, and the steak restaurant at the top of the hotel provides stunning sunset views - in my opinion it is well worth a visit. Lyttos Mare also does not disappoint in terms of evening party options with clients and coaches becoming regulars in the nearby town of Hersonissos, particularly at the karaoke bar!

Liberty Lykia

Liberty Lykia is the resort I had heard the most about, so I was keen to see it for myself.

I arrived in the dark, which certainly did not do the resort justice. It was only the next morning that I realised just how impressive the setting is. The resort is spread across a huge area near Ölüdeniz, with incredible mountain and sea views throughout.

It’s also one of the most complete resorts we work with - a mix of family and adults-only areas, plenty of dining options, and everything you need in one place.

The tennis center, which we now run, is plentiful with 18 astro turf tennis courts and 2 padel courts plus the offerings of Cardio Tennis and even some mini golf, there really is something for everyone!

What sets the resort apart, though, is the evening entertainment. It operates at a different level. Professional dancers and singers each night, a resort-wide white night, and even a club on site for those who want to carry on later. The resort really does have everything you need, meaning there is little reason to leave, resulting in a constant warm atmosphere and a real sense of group camaraderie.

School Tours

We’ve also just finished our first school tours season, which has been a great success.

The feedback from both students and teachers has been excellent, particularly around the structure of the coaching and the balance between learning and enjoyment.

George Cann led the tours and created a strong mix of focus, organisation and fun across the week. With planning already underway for 2027, the School Tours space is definitely one to watch!

Padel

This spring also saw our largest padel week to date at Oliva Nova, led by Cameron Logan.

It’s been fantastic to see how quickly the padel programme is evolving. The demand is clearly there, and the week itself was a good example of what these trips can become. The padel trip offering has more variety than our tennis programme with many trips running across jsut 4 days, therefore suiting those looking for a shorter style break!

It’s an area that I am excited to watch grow as we move through 2026 and into next season.

Pickleball

Pickleball has also started the season well.

We’ve had several trips running already in Vilamoura, with strong uptake across the board. As one of the fastest growing sports globally, it’s no surprise to see that reflected in the interest we’re seeing.

The feedback on the coaching has been particularly positive, with guests enjoying how insightful, personalised and social the sessions are.

Hosting

One thing that has been consistent across all trips so far is the standard of hosting.

The hosts are the people who set the tone for the week - from meeting guests on arrival, to running sessions, to making sure everything works as it should both on and off court. Its often the part that new guests don't expect but end up valuing the most!

That’s been reflected in the feedback, with hosting scoring 9.77/10.

They work incredibly hard, and it shows.

Looking Ahead

There’s still a lot of the season to go.

We’ve got some big weeks coming up at Lyttos Mare with tennis, padel and pickleball all running at the same time, the introduction of Sani Beach, and a busy period ahead at Liberty Lykia.

If the first few weeks are anything to go by, there’s plenty more to come. We are also starting to look forward to 2027 already with registrations now open for 2027 Launch. Do register today if you are interested in staying up to date with all our developments planned for next season - 2027 is looking to be our biggest yet!
