We’re taking the Active Away experience to Cyprus and we couldn’t be more excited!

Our first-ever padel holiday in Cyprus will be hosted at the modern, stylish and brilliantly located Capo Bay Hotel. Situated in Protaras, right next to the famous Fig Tree Bay, the hotel offers stunning sea views, fantastic dining options, and direct access to one of the island’s best beaches. It’s an amazing setting for an unforgettable padel holiday.

With three outdoor padel courts and a floodlit artificial grass tennis court, Capo Bay is a great option for both padel and tennis players. There is a wide range of on-site facilities, including a spa, a fully equipped fitness centre, water sports and several restaurants serving fresh, local cuisine.

We chose Cyprus for its excellent year-round climate, making it a reliable choice for our padel holidays, no matter the time of year!

Resort Information

Board Basis

The half-board basis at Capo Bay Hotel means that your stay includes both breakfast and dinner. Typically, breakfast is served buffet-style. For dinner, our group will dine at the hotel restaurants and the buffet restaurant (depending on the hotel’s availability), allowing you to enjoy a range of dishes without needing to go off-site for meals. Drinks are not included, and will be charged to your room bill for you to settle at the end of your holiday.

Restaurants

Guests can enjoy international dishes at Elea Restaurant, savour Asian fusion cuisine at Koi, or try local favourites at Mama’s. For European flavours, Cuccina is an excellent choice, while Bitter Lemons provides a cosy spot for drinks.

Bars

Bitter Lemons (the main lobby bar) serves drinks and snacks in a modern, stylish setting. The Koi Lounge Bar provides a relaxed atmosphere with cocktails and dining options, while the Pool Bar offers refreshing beverages and light snacks by the water.

Setting

Capo Bay is set in the vibrant resort town of Protaras, right next to the famous Fig Tree Bay with its clear waters and sandy beaches. The area is lively yet relaxed, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and local attractions within walking distance.

Capo Bay features three padel courts and if you fancy playing more padel outside of our programme, the courts are available for booking through the hotel’s leisure department or via the Playtomic app.

Book the padel courts early if you are planning to play outside of our padel programme as, particularly during busy times, the courts get booked up quickly.

You will need to fly into Larnaka International Airport which is a 50 minute transfer to Capo Bay Hotel.

Capo Bay Hotel does not have its own golf course. However, guests interested in golfing can visit nearby facilities. While there are no golf courses directly in Protaras, the Aphrodite Hills Golf Course, located near Paphos, offers an 18-hole championship course and is approximately a two-hour drive from the hotel.

Absolutely! You can rent a padel racket from the hotel.

Fully Hosted Itinerary – Where you’ll have an Active Away host on hand throughout your trip to take care of everything, from WhatsApp groups to restaurants and more – every detail is taken care of. What’s more is you’ll get to meet new people on these trips as we have a minimum number of participants for the trip to happen.

Yes! It has one floodlit artificial grass tennis court.

Typically, we would have 12 players on each trip.

We operate a 1:1:4 ratio so that’s 1 coach, 1 court, and a maximum of 4 players. This guarantees an exclusive and personalised coaching experience.
