Take your doubles game forward with a full day of focused tennis at David Lloyd Southampton on Saturday, 5 December 2026. You’ll meet the group at 11:45am before warming up and splitting into groups, with no more than one coach to six players per court. Throughout the day, practical drills will help you read the ball earlier, improve your anticipation and make quicker decisions during rallies. You’ll also work on doubles positioning, touch, control and accuracy, alongside movement and footwork drills designed to help you stay balanced and recover effectively. Later sessions focus on attacking a weak second serve, handling lobs, communicating with your partner and moving confidently into attacking positions. There’s a one hour lunch break, with hot and cold food and drinks available to buy from the on-site café. The clinic finishes with matchplay, giving you the chance to put the day’s learning into practice in competitive points.
